Dieses weibliche Dance/Pop-Trio war ein Projekt von Sal Abbtiello. Die Sängerinnen waren Louise Sabater, Sunshine Wright und Caroline Jackson. Zusammen hatten sie 3 mehr oder weniger erfolgreiche R&B Chart Hits. 1989 wurde Wright durch Margo Urban ersetzt und dei neue Formation schaffte es auf 8 Pop Hits.
Für den Song "Here it is" ersetzte Abbatiello 1992 Urban und Sabater durch Evelyn Escalera und Michelle Valentine, und 1996 blieb von den orginal Cover Girls keine mehr übrig. Stattdessen wurde der Gesangspart von einem neuen Trio, Damie, Gayle und Shelia, übernommen.
