And the reaction is awesome!
The pre-production of the album is done…just need to finish up on mixing and editing.
But wow, this album is going to impact this entire industry, as God only knows.
First of all I would like to thank Jesus Christ for the talent and blessings behind this amazing project. Furthermore I would like to thank my wife and children for their support, love and participation during this entire ordinal. This sacrifice will not be in vain. What did I say family participation? Humm, I also would like to thank my team leaders, my new producers Tanassi K. and TC for their support and incredible ability and ideas in this monumental project and a shout out to Ray for the vocals here in America. Also to all who has participated in every song, General Victor (Rapper) and Nickie Daniels (Rapper). I know and understand I couldn’t do this without them. Being blessed with these wonderful men who understand Freestyle with clarity…it an inspiration and a true hope for this industry, which constantly continues to receive negative criticism and lack of support from even within its ranks. But don’t let that stop me, because I stand on the hope of the Lord and His blessings during this whole ordeal…. It reminds me of a scripture in which I live by…Philippians 4:13 which quotes “I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGHTS ME!
The 2001 album “The Sounds of My Heart,” opened many doors and opportunity for me in Europe and here in America… Being produced by Tommy and Ishmael. Two nice and talented individuals whose success in the R&B industry is clearly evident, being that they themselves have produced several R&B groups who have done quite well. Gave me a challenge to present and educate them in the fundaments of Freestyle. My enjoyment in partaking in some of the new material in new marketable fields engaged me to elevate my writing and vocal talents to new highs. In fact many display regret and hurt at once again an industry not participating in a non-bias attitude. But continued to maintain a senses of disillusionment toward any Freestyle Artist who tried to elevate and reveal their talent and abilities to be competitive in any market they prefer.
The one empowering factor with this album the “2001 The Sounds of My Heart” were the emails and letters of support and surprise at the vocal professionalism and range that placed me as a formable force in any industry today. This opportunity was in my opinion a stepping-stone toward higher goals and achievements. And I would like to mention thank you to my choir director and Pastors for always pushing me to high achievements because they believe in me. God bless you. This learning curve has taught me many important lessons in the quest for success in this Freestyle industry and in any industry. And those mistakes are being looked at on the Record label level. Marketing and promotions, videos and distribution and other factors are key and essential and fundament within investments made by and contributed by the Record labels belief and support.
So pray for us during the negotiation time. Which is the next step…. America in my opinion can’t be over looked during this powerful project, which is just around the corner.
This will be a center issue and vital one. But let me not forget the songs within the album “The Sounds of My Heart,” that have touched souls and moved them with compassion. Like “Did You” a powerful positive song of Love and compassion from the Lord, and how about track four “I’m so in Love” my rocket as I like to point to it. Which mostly every letter and email mention with resounding support a smash hit and innovator for followers of Freestyle as a whole. These key elements could not be overlooked and appreciated without anyone taking a harder listen and coming to conclusive opinion that I (Johnny O) has entered into some of the most impressive and earthshaking projects to come.
Now enters my new album called “PEACE ON EARTH.” With the assembly of my new team leader members, which happens to be the producers of track four which is the only track on the Sounds of my Heart album, they produced and receive the high compliments and enthusiasm. You better hang on…. Tanassi and TC and I have come up with some of the most powerful heart moving and touching songs you are going to love. Dealing with real issues in life and spiritual issues…so far everyone who has heard my album not only will support it. But has devoted to push and promote my album because of its content and real ability to open industry doors for not only for my self, but for others wanting and dreaming of a career in Freestyle or in any other market. There are many surprises within this album and man you are going to go nuts…the album is the bomb….
Would you like a glimpse of what is in it? Ok…. Take for instance how many people go through hard times and are in need to songs of encouragement, love and emotional up filling. This album has those type of songs…. which I wrote…. me Johnny O with the help of God.
King of Kings is one powerful and moving song…. created in Freestyle this song has so far receive nothing short of being called an “anthem”… Fantastic, amazing, off the chain and other encouraging quotes that will leave you wanting more. That song I wrote about two years ago for the Lord as a thank you for everything He has done in my life. That song alone has helped me through some tuff times in my life and I hope it will be a blessing to you! I would love to post more information about my new album, but as an agreement at this time I must slowly inform you, as time allows. No disappointment here! To all my fans and supporters in the industry “proof is in the putting” and “belief is in the results” and so far “to God be the glory.”
Here we go…to the top don’t stop, thank you everyone…. please the next steps are negotiation with the record labels. So to the praying crowed start those prayers…and for everyone else keep hope alive because Johnny O is here is stay!
