WHAT'S TO COME; FALL 2008
New things to come, starting September 2008:
The Return of The Boogiedown-Quikk Mixes:
Dezabeatz (Bass N Freestyle) Vol. 2
Get ready as the Boogiedown-Quikk Mixxes take over in September! Hitting you with the hottest Electro Bass, House, Garage, Pop Urbano, Breakbeat, Rhythmic R&B, Latin House and Pop Hits, quick mix style, focussing heavily on breakbeat, house, and u.k. garage! Get ready for more 20-30 minute, hyper-active mixes to be dropped more frequently, as oppose to longer mixes being dropped every now and then, along with more new Project Mixes where new breakbeat and freestyle songs will be featured with smooth blends. You can hear the first (new style) of the Boogiedown-Quikk Mixx on my page, labelled as "Boogiedown-Quikk Mixx (Summer Vibez 2008 Edition) to get an idea of what's to come. These will be the mixes that most likely take over as the other mixes on my pages are removed.
Time to start keeping Dezabeatz (Bass N Freestyle) Vol 2 in the back of your mind because... well, it will be coming relatively soon. Some of the artists I'm planning on featuring on there? Melissa Lujan, Lady GaGa feat. Colby O Donis, I'm still debating on the remix of "sensual seduction", Snoop Dogg Feat. Robyn, maybe even Jonelle, Manny Stylez, Sharyn Maceren, Dj Keri, Ciara, Stevie B, and so much more. I am still stuck on Vol. 1 so I think I'm going to go ahead and take time to sit back and enjoy that for a while. A quick, short definition of Dezabeatz, "a miami / booty bass sound, with freestyle elements thrown in, usually with r&b style singing over uptempo rhythm & quad style beats". Christina Marie, Mari P, One Voice, SoSo Def Bass AllStars, Luke's Freak Fest 2000, and some of Dance Trip 2000 albums are great examples of this sound. In adition to Bass'N'Freestyle, look for other Dezabeatz Projects to come as well.
This is once again just a breif preview of what's to come, along with much more as the year begins to come to a close. Another Clubhouse Throwdown is long overdue, and be on the lookout for some old school/new school freestyle mixes to pop up as well.
