Vocalist Jade Starling and Whey Coolerco-formed the five-piece Philadelphia dance group Pretty Poison in the early '80s.

They recorded for Svengali and Virgin, and their single "Catch Me (I'm Falling)" was a Top 10 pop hit in 1987; it was also featured in the film "Hiding Out." It peaked on the R&B side at 13 and was the group's lone hit.
