Nyasia

Nyasia was born in West Palm Beach Florida. Nyasia started singing in church as a little girl, in her teen years she entered a talent show and Sang Irene Cara's "Out Here On My Own" in (Acapella) and won the talent show. She has helped a lot of friends in the music industry including singing background; not only does she sing but also has dancing skills and has danced for several groups and artists. In the World Hispanics Fair at the Jacob Javits Center she was discovered by Ernesto Medina, who approached her and for an auditioned. In 1990 she was signed to MicMac records. Her debut song "Now & Forever" went to the number one spots in Miami, Brazil, Chicago and Texas. Her second Single "Who's Got Your Love" crossed over in California before hitting N.Y. and hitting the top ten. Nyasia has been singing professionally for the past 12 years. She has worked with Producers Mickey Garcia, Nelson Cruz, Ellis, Pacheco, Mauro DeSantis, Mike Lerello, among others. Now this year 2002, Nyasia is preparing herself to be part of "EL SHOW DE FREDDY LOPEZ" Co-hosting along with Mr. Freddy Lopez. Not only will the fans see her on TV but also has just recently signed a record deal with E.L.I. RECORDS. Her new songs entitled "If I Could See You Now", "Mi Vida Eres Tu" and a duet song with Freddy Lopez on "Y Tu Te Olvidara" will be released some time soon. Nyasia has not limited herself to singing in English, but also will be singing in Spanish (ESTILO LIBRE).
