Nathan Lee

They say that everyone's destiny is pre-determined by some unknown force. Fate if you will. If that's the case, than Nathan Lee is brilliantly following the path assigned to him. He is a gifted musician who becomes increasingly effective in anything he attempts in music. He is a smooth vocalist, who has the ability to sweep you away with his soulful ballads, and the strength to move a crowd with his high-energy inflexions.

Nathan Lee had a humble beginning. First singing at parties and church before realizing that his singing was quickly becoming his future. At the age of 15, it was already clear that he was headed towards a life in music. Not only is he a good singer, but he is also an excellent writer. His words can place you where he was, make you feel what he felt, and make you take on the emotions of the moment.

Nathan Lee has experienced the ups and downs of this very difficult genre of music. He started out with his uncle at a local record label/studio called TMI Records. Through TMI, he gained valuable experience in a studio. He became a learning producer whose insatiable appetite for knowledge, has now made him one the brightest and most exciting newcomers to the rich family of producers that Freestyle, and music in general, have. He produced his own ghost track for the song, "I Need To Know", which was featured on CPR's Madness Compilation. The song was a hit locally, reaching the Number one spot in a short amount of time.

He has also worked with D.J. Larry Vee. Through Larry Vee, he was exposed to a lot of people in the music business. Nathan has been able to take all the experience he learned from TMI Records and Larry Vee, and take a further step into his musical dreams.

After some unrealized dreams and disappointments, Nathan decided it was time to go off on his own, and redirect his vision.

Currently, Nathan is running his own Label and Production studio. He is in partnership with Fred Nice, formally from Vocal Image. Both of them are working on a compilation that promises to bring you new sounds, new ideas, and new concepts in Freestyle. They are trying to make a difference. Nathan will feature his long anticipated second release on the compilation. It will show us his true range of prowess with his singing. Look for him, and the rest of the FlipZide Productions crew, to help Freestyle climb over that wall called commercialbility.
