Joey Santana

Joey Santana Born in the Bronx, NY March, 27.

At the age of ten, his mother use to take him to Piano lessons. She used to make him play the piano in church, in front of an audience. Ever since then his love for music grew to a point where he knew that this is what he wanted to do.

He had been with several singing groups learning and adapting to the sound of music. But things really started happening when he went as a solo artist. He had the privilege to work with several Producers such as Robert Marcial (Come Get My Love) T. K. A. Danny and Victor Vargas (WEPA MAN), and Victor Franco.

From 1989-1992 he had the privilege to open up for Cynthia, Johnny O, Soave, Judy Torres, and George Lamond, just to mention a few. From there he learned and experienced "stage appearance" performing clubs.

After years of performing, Joey knew he was prepared and it was time to get a record deal. He had the privilege to meet Mercy Lee, from the Freddy Lopez Show. And through Mercy, he was able to meet Mr. Freddy Lopez,CEO/PRESIDENT of E. L. I. RECORDS, who discovered Joey Santana's talent and powerful voice."You Are The One For Me" was written By Miguel A. Caldero for Double Dose Productions, who always stood by Joey's side and never gave up on him. His single, signed to E. L. I. RECORDS, was also written and produced by Joey Santana.
