Singer/Songwriter and Musician EVA, is originally from Detroit, Michigan. She now calls New York City home. Currently, EVA’S single “Never Give Up”, written and arranged by EVA, offers a danceable beat, an inspiring message, and is gaining a lot of notoriety in and around the Midwest, New York (WKTU), Florida, Texas, Chicago, and California.
In Toronto, Canada on Hits 103.5 FM "Never Give Up" was voted in the top ten songs of 1999. In addition, “Never Give Up” has been featured on Detroit radio and television stations as well as nationally on channel ANA - a show in which they compile a list of new releases (similar to a top ten, primarily middle eastern and world music), where they featured EVA’S “Never Give Up”, the first and only English language song on the show. With its current success, EVA is headlining and opening shows for a variety of established performers.

EVA incorporates many musical influences of pop, gospel, dance, and R&B, together with many ethnic influences and a romantic writing style in her music. EVA attributes this combination to the diverse community, (of approximately 30 nationalities), where she was raised. “We never looked at each other as being separated by race, we were all friends and we appreciated everyone,” she says. “We could go to anyone’s house and feel at home, we broke down a lot of barriers and learned a lot from and about each other."

EVA is actively involved in social issues that she feels strongly about, such as education, women’s issues, and issues supporting the arts. EVA recently volunteered to read to children in a Detroit elementary school for reading week sponsored by a local rotary club. EVA also volunteers to sing the Star Spangled Banner at sporting events held at her old high school. This year she was asked to make an appearance to sing at the graduation for the class of 2000.
EVA’S artistic career began at an early age. Acting, singing, and writing for school plays, bands, church and community functions. EVA was writing and recording songs and performing opera and musical theater all before she was old enough to drive. While still in her teens, she released a song with an independent Canadian record label and was featured on numerous compilations. Soon after, she established her own company, EDM Entertainment, where she currently handles all aspects of her developing career.
