Diamante

Jeanette Rosario better known as “Diamante” believes that sensuality is the language of a song. She projects that sensuality in her interpretation of music. Diamante started her singing debut at the age of 7 at Susan Rybin’s School of Acting. She is a SAG (Screen Actors Guild) and AFTRA member. At the age of 13 she recorded her first single “Can We Go Back” on a High Power records compilation. This led to performances at Foxes Nightclub, Flamingo and Club Scorpios, channel 41 and channel 47. Performances at 116 Street Festival and Festivals throughout New York and New Jersey. At the age of 15 she recorded “The Fire” with E.L.I. / Artistik records..........Diamante attends the High school Performing Arts in New York. She divides her time between her first love music and acting. She has done various television commercials as well as jingles for radio and television. At such a young age she has appeared in movies like “Bad Lieutenant”, “Batman”, and most recently in the upcoming Columbia Pictures movie “Finding Foster”. Along with her active singing, acting, and school life she also finds time to produce and host “The Diamante Show” and “La Nueva Ola” along with her best friend Limarys Lopez Biaggy and most recently with Artie.The Diamante show originated with her desire to sing and to open the doors of opportunity to young artists..........Because of her endeavors and overachiever personality she has received an extraordinary amount of awards but the ones that she is most proud of are:

Premio Betances - Puerto Rican Day Parade honored her for her work within the community and young children.

Premio Valores Humanos of the Cuban Parade - given to her for the opportunities she offered to Cuban youngsters in her show to promote their talents and for her collaboration to the Cuban Parade. City Citation - presented by the district leader, Margarita Lopez for providing music to the FDR Drive Park unifying families and vendors. Premio Fiesta Folklorica - For her contribution in providing talent and promoting the event. Diamante is a talented, charismatic, and determined young rising star waiting for an opportunity to spread her language of music.

The mayor of the city of Dorado, Puerto Rico gave her a gold medal for being a citizen model when she was selected like the International Queen representing Puerto Rico from a group of youngsters that represent and have lidership in the city of New York Diamante has just finished recording 2 new songs. These are “Distance” and “Sometimes” which are very hot and are guaranteed to satisfy all tastes both songs are featured in “Fantasy Freestyle”
